ACADEMICS

Lutheran High School of Jacksonville is committed to helping each student maximize his or her intellectual strengths in the classroom through a rigorous curriculum. We will provide a unique Christ-centered educational environment in which every student is cared for, valued, and loved. We believe that all individuals have been created by God and purchased by Christ. At Lutheran High School of Jacksonville we are committed to excellence in Christian character, development and academics.

Our curriculum has been carefully selected by each department ensuring that we meet and exceed state standards. Lutheran High School of Jacksonville understands that students vary in their academic abilities, learning styles, personalities, interests, and levels of motivation for learning. Thus, we have put a standard and traditional college preparatory program in place for all students of LHSJ. Both programs will qualify our graduates for Bright Futures Scholarships. Our programs place a strong emphasis on Mathematics, Science, English, Social Studies, and Theology. Lutheran High School of Jacksonville ensures academic success for all students while proclaiming Christ through excellence in education.
